By knowing through the news channel, my 10 yrs son, he called me with so surprise that our rupee has got sign when I was on out station duty at Delhi for my office work. The same time I was watching the news with the same subject. However, in the next morning I have seen that there was no charm of celebrating the respect of Indian rupee sign equal to someone marriage, neither media has give proper response nor any drastic feedback received from the Indian people. I remember that my son was asking for the sign since he was in 2nd standard. In those days he was so eager to see the sign of Indian rupee. All the Indian community has taken the matter so lightly. I feel, that, we, the Indian do not have any spirit towards the nation or we have lost the same. I understand that we do not have such leadership for the same.
Couple of days back there was very huge converge given by the media to unnecessary matter, that was like someone is merry, the football matches was going on where there was no present of Indian which is the second largest in population in the world. We forget to feel shame; we just started to see our interest, no one taking care even to think that what our past is.
I observed that no single industrialist has welcomed the declaration of Indian rupee sign, which is required with great respect and honor.
Anyhow, I am so happy with this sign and double happy to see and listen still today from my son mouth that “papa our rupee has also sign”.
